United StatesI have to admit that I was not confident in this technology. Then I started to use it in my home following a moderate mold remediation involving 3/4 of my home. From what we have noticed, the light has been effective at controlling the growth of mildew, mold, and algae in the originating bathroom. I have used it in the main room as well after it was suggested that uvc light is able to help with dust mite activity, and have noticed a drop in intensity of allergic reactions. There is an initial scent of burning hair regardless of which room it is used, but the scent has become less over the time I’ve been using.

What a great unit!!! I am no longer coughing from allergies. My sinuses are clear, and I am breathing and sleeping better. I love how you can easily move the tabletop unit from room to room with little effort. The unit is well designed and simple to use. The remote is not necessary as you can utilize the buttons on the unit. So, if you misplace the remote, it isn't a big deal. There is a delay when using the buttons so that you have ample time to vacate the room before the light is activated. The additional bulb is a plus. I bought a 24-inch mailing tube to store it in. Customer service is great!!! I had many a question prior to purchase and they were very helpful. I am very happy with this purchase.

I have a chronic foot fungus problem, courtesy of SE Asia, and for years I have been disinfecting my shower by hand every time I use the shower What. A. PITA. If I don't do the daily cleaning, with brush and chemicals, within a couple of weeks I end up with bloody sores from the 'fungus from heck' so I have lots of motivation for keeping things fungus free. This tool works better and faster at disinfecting my shower than anything else I have ever tried, and I have tried every disinfectant I can find, probably 30 or so different products over the years. Roll this in to the shower, extend the tubes and light it off for 15 minutes, and it is clean. The floor of the shower is textured, to prevent falls, and it is really a chore to brush it clean. This UV treatment leaves the textured floor as clean as, or better, than anything else, and it also gets the shower walls . Having the remote to activate the unit is a very nice feature, UV bulbs should never be seen when they are active if you value your vision. Using this tool saves me massive time and effort, and it's worth every penny. I am very pleased with this. Thank you, Tool Kleen.
